AC/DC to headline Download Festival 2010 with help from MEGADETH, MOTORHEAD & THEM CROOKED VULTURES

It's official: AC/DC are coming back to Donington Park to headline the 2010 incarnation of the Download Festival. This will be the band's 3rd appearance headlining a festival in Donington. Among the other announced acts for the 3 day festival which kicks off Friday June 13th are: THEM CROOKED VULTURES, DEFTONES, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, MEGADETH, MOTORHEAD, WOLFMOTHER and VOLBEAT. More bands will be announced soon, with tickets going on sale this Friday, Jan. 29th. I don't know if this initial lineup is enough to warrant a trip to the UK, but if you are one of our European junkies, this sounds like a decent bill to trek out to. Here is a little more enticement.
