TESTAMENT announce US tour with UNEARTH and LAZARUS A.D.

Coming off a mind-crushingly awesome new album and spots on the Metal Masters, Priest Feast and CHILDREN OF BODOM/THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER tours, TESTAMENT are taking their momentum on another run through the states, this time with Metal Blade signees UNEARTH and LAZARUS A.D. Considering the awesomeness of The Formation of Damnation and the fact that four out of five original members (filled out by SLAYER's former drummer) are on board, this is as great a time as ever to catch a headlining set from one of the best and most influential thrash metal bands in existence. Tour dates and the "More than Meets the Eye" video are after the jump. (more…)

Upcoming Releases

Out Today: New releases from GOJIRA, THE HAUNTED, UNEARTH and more…

October's slew of high-profile releases continues today with new albums from some of Europe's finest and some rising metal stars.

GojiraThe Way Of All Flesh (Prosthetic)
After gaining stature on tours with Lamb of God and Behemoth, plus an In Flames tour this fall, Gojira are on the verge of stardom with a serious album of the year contender. Check out the socially-conscious headbangers' new video right here.

The HauntedVersus (Century Media)
Three-fifths of At the Gates return from their mighty reunion tour last summer with some melodic death metal in the vein of their legendary first band. The new songs streaming here contrast with their more experimental last album and reflects the thrash sensibilities that distinguished their earlier albums.

Yngwie MalmsteenPerpetual Flame (Rising Force)
Ummm…

UnearthThe March (Metal Blade)
Produced by Killswitch Engage's Adam Dutkiewicz, propelled by first video "My Will be Done" (watch here) and arriving on the heels of their US tour with Dimmu Borgir, Devildriver, and Kataklysm, The March may be the album that makes Unearth a household name.

A/V Roundup: Listen to new GOJIRA, UNEARTH, watch SOULFLY, SERJ, IN THIS MOMENT

It's almost October, which means, as Jim Ross would say…"Business is about to pick up". Check out some recent A/V postings from around the interwebs:

GOJIRA (properly pronounced: GOJJIIRRRRRRAAAAHHH) have posted 10 of the 12 tracks off their new album The Way Of All Flesh has been posted on the band's MySpace page. This album is absolutely incredible. This band has the heaviest tone of any band out right now. Definitely pick up the record when it comes out October 14th.

UNEARTH have posted a second track, "We Are Not Anonymous" on their MySpace page. Don't expect barriers to be broken. It's the typical UNEARTH sound at it's finest. I'll definitely give this album a listen when it comes out.

Oh snap! We have exclusive footage of SOULFLY performing "Paranoia" from their new album Conquer live at Area4 Festival in Germany. Check it out here.

Live footage of SERJ TANKIAN performing at the annual "Reading Festival" overseas can be found here and here.
