Coined by producer/Hate Eternal frontman Erik Rutan, Alex Webster is the Steve Harris of death metal. Webster, one of the two remaining original members of death metal pioneers Cannibal Corpse, has been kicking ass for decades and shows absolutely no signs of stopping his signature, technical assault any time soon. I got a chance to catch up with Alex at The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina on their fifth date of the Torture U.S. Tour, which also featured excellent performances from the brutal likes of Exhumed, Abysmal Dawn, and Arkaik.
