The good news: TDTDE is putting out a new album next month. It will be called Danza IIII: The Alpha – The Omega and be released on October 23rd.
The bad news: This will be the final album from Danza. (more…)
The good news: The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza is definitely in the studio! The band recently posted they have been at NS Studio since May 23rd with producer Nicholas Scott adding "BEAST MODE!". The bad news? Those tracks we thought were demos, well, turns out it was just guitarist Josh Travis just fucking around. Needless to say, more Danza is a good thing. Tony Danza himself would agree.

Today may be April Fool's Day but it's also a good day to talk about some new music which has surfaced around the intrawebs.
One of our favorite avant-grind bands are gearing up for a new release, why it's the Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza! The band just released the first (mastered) tracked off their upcoming release,Danza III: The Series Of Unfortunate Events, which hits stores July 6th. The track is called "The Union" and can be streamed on their MySpace page. To see some exclusive Danza studio clips, click here.
Finally, not content with only having a thrash-revival band, Municipal Waste bassist Ryan Waste is forming a New Wave of British Heavy Metal revival act, called Volture. The two tracks posted on the band's MySpace page sound pretty cool, very much in the vein of 80's metal like Priest and Maiden.
THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, IMPENDING DOOM, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS, TONY DANZA TAP DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA to tour

One of our favorite band interviews ever, and Tony Danza's favorite band, THE TONY DANZA TAP DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA has posted an early demo of a track called "Yipeekayay Motherfucker" on their MySpace page. The track will surface on the group's upcoming release, Danza III: The Series Of Unfortunate Events. The band is in the studio now with a 2010 release scheduled.
Metal Injection has been going strong for 5 years now. I thought this would be as good a time as any to go back into our archives and pick out my top 5 favorite interviews that I have conducted. In the middle of the week, I'll post a few hilarious band on band interviews. Stay tuned all week for new updates!
I don't even know where to begin. We attended a tour package in the Spring of 2008 which featured THE TONY DANZA TAP DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY and BENEATH THE MASSACRE all of which made cameos in this interview. Before the interview, I was warned that the lead singer, Jesse was really drunk. The band asked if we could just do a text interview but they didn't realize that being drunk results in great footage. Little did I know that this would be a huge trainwreck. Seriously, its just 11 minutes of randomness. (more…)
Right on the heels of their cream-inducing tour with MESHUGGAH and CYNIC (for which we are giving away tickets to each stop), THE FACELESS are finding out what it's like to headline a face-melting trek with ARSIS, MISERY INDEX and TONY DANZA TAPDANCE EXTRAVAGANZA. So far, it looks like the south is getting all the fun–who do we have to kill to get you guys above the Mason-Dixon?

A few weeks ago, we posted a pretty belligerent interview with members of the TONY DANZA TAP DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA. After that interview concluded, the dudes were like "So could we try this again when we're…like…sober." So, the above interview is the sober version! We caught up with dudes at the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest, and the band talked about it all. It was a pretty sweet interview, so you should just do yourself a favor and hit play above.
Its the end of the night, we just watched BENEATH THE MASSACRE get their show stopped because of too much violence, as well as get some interviews with BORN OF OSIRIS and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY. Then, Danza was up. As we were approaching the band, drummer Brandon let us know that the singer, Jessie, was pretty drunk. Talk about understatement of the year. This was seriously the most random segment in MI history. It was pretty great. Luckily we caught up with a more sober Danza, this past weekend at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and we'll make sure to get that interview up really soon. If you want to check out more Danza, check out their video for "Carroll 14 Wossman 7"
