Thanksgiving weekend just got a whole lot more metal for Southern California fans. The California Metalfest just announced the lineup for it's four year running, and it's a blockbuster array of heavy metal acts. New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 2012 Lineup Announced (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Headline)

The fine folks behind the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival got an early start on announcing the lineup for this year's event. The fourteenth iteration of the festival will go down from Friday April 20th until Sunday the 22nd, three days of metallic hardcore madness. There is a lot of variety on the bill this year, with the main headliners being Killswitch Engage, Black Dahlia Murder, Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Overkill, Periphery and one more surprise headliner to be announced on January 2nd. Today seems to be a day for tour announcements. The Spring Breakdown tour was announced today. BLEEDING THROUGH, BORN OF OSIRIS, SLEEPING GIANT, OCEANO and LEGEND will be on all dates. There will be special appearances on the shows from the likes of STRAY FROM THE PATH, UPON A BURNING BODY, ADVENT and LIONHEART.
