A/V Roundup: New music from ALL THAT REMAINS, ION DISSONANCE, ABIGIAL WILLIAMS; More hijinx from ETID

All That Remains have announced their new album is called …For We Are The Many and today they have released the first taste of the music (in exchange for your email address, natch). Head over to their official site to see the album art, as well as sign up for the free mp3 download. The track is definitely heavy and seems to be a bit of a return to form for the band, with minimal clean vocals, all of which were done tastefully. Adam D.'s production presence is definitely felt on the track.

For those of you who like your music slightly more aggro, Ion Dissonance have posted a second new track on their MySpace page titled 'The More Things Change…'. Some solid work from the deathcorists from up north.

Want your music slower and more blackened? Well then take a listen to Abigail Williams' new track "Final Destiny of the Gods" on their MySpace page. The track rips! Their new record In The Absence of Light comes out September 21st.

Finally, Every Time I Die have posted another awesome new episode of their web series, Shit Happens. Those dudes are too cool. I said it.

As Blood Runs Black posted the first taste of new music in quite a while. The track is called Resist and can be streamed on their MySpace page. There is lots of chug chugs and some brrrbrrrr. You guys are following right?

A/V Roundup: EVERY TIME I DIE new internet series; KORN Album Streaming; New ION DISSONANCE track

Every Time I Die's DVD, Shit Happens, may be my favorite band DVD of all time due to the sheer entertainment value these guys possess. Plus, they introduced the term shinfo into my lexicon. Well, turns out director Doug Spanenberg went on the road with the band for a 12-week online series they are also calling "Shit Happens". The teaser trailer is above. We are very excited.

We know there are quite a few of you junkies who are Korn fans and are probably very eagerly anticipating their upcoming release, Korn III: Remember Who You Are. Wait no longer! The entire album is streaming right here. Don't forget the band is spending the Summer on Mayhem Fest which we are still giving away tickets for.

Finally, Ion Dissonance released their first bit of new music from their upcoming Cursed release titled "After Everything's That Happened, What Did You Expect?" Oh, those guys and their long song titles. It's pretty crushing, making me want to hear the whole album immediately. Take a listen below:

Monday Wake Up Call

ION DISSONANCE can wake a deaf person up

Woo, three day work week!! Who else is pumped? I thought to start us off this Monday (or if you really think about it…its kinda like today is Wednesday) we should start with a bang, that bang being Montreal noise-metal experts, ION DISSONANCE. Their 2003 release Breathing Is Irrelevant is quite possibly one of my favorite releases of this decade. It just doesn't let up. You could be walking your dog, or standing on a crowded train, and this album will just instinctively make you want to mosh. And, I don't even like moshing! Check out my favorite track from the record, "The Death of One Man is a Tragedy, The Death Of 10,000 Is A Statistic"…which is also a deep title, if you think about it.
