Randy can't seem to catch a break. We reported earlier today that Blythe might see his release from a detainment in Czech prision over allegations of manslaughter, but now it looks like that won't be happening for another 10 days. Blythe posted a $200,000 bail for his release and was expected to be let go today. Apparently in the Czech court system, posting bail does not guarantee immediate release, and it takes up to 10 days for a judge to sign off on the release. It could get even worse. Blythe may not even be able to leave the country. Here is what the judge ruled today: (more…)
We're back at our computers ready to report on all the latest breaking news in this case of Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe being accused of manslaughter in the Czech Republic. On Saturday, Blythe appeared at a court hearing where his bail was set at $200,000 USD, which the frontman claimed was actually his annual income (so a big hit for Blythe). Nevertheless, Blythe agreed to pay it, and should be getting released today.
His bandmates have returned backed to the states over the weekend, with Mark Morton tweeting:
"Finally HOME! 4/5 of us anyway. I can't wait to give Randy a big bear hug and kiss his pointy, stubbly face! Thanx for all the support y'all! Flooded with questions about Randy. I truly understand and appreciate [your] concern. But it would be irresponsible for me to comment on any of it. Again….thank y'all SOOOO much for your love and support during these difficult times. It means the world to us."
Now the big shocker is a local Czech report have acquired footage of Randy pushing a fan off stage. The news report is quick to point out that this may not be the footage of the stage jump that led to the fan's death, but was included to illustrate how such a thing could happen. Take a look: (more…)
