For all those unaware, Kriss Kross was a rap group in the 90's that made that song "Jump." One of the duo, Chris Kelly, passed away in Atlanta, GA, at the age of 34.

This weekend, we reported on the tragic passing of Deftones bassist Chi Cheng, who died at the age of 42 after his heart stopped. Cheng was in a coma for three years stemming from a 2008 car accident, and then still in a vegetative state for the remainder of his life. It was truly a sad end to a great life. It is with a heavy heart that we report that Deftones bassist Chi Cheng has passed away at the age of 42. In the wake of ISIS' demise, drummer Aaron Harris, guitarist/programmer Clifford Meyer and bassist Jeff Caxide started jamming on a new project, which eventually became Palms. The band recruited a friend to help out with vocals, who knows a thing or two about belting out emotion, Chino Moreno of Deftones.
