So many good bands within walking distance of my Brooklyn apartment, so little time. When my buddy, Drew Mack left Hull a few months ago, I knew it wouldn't be long until we heard from him again. Drew announced he's taking over low-end duties for Cleanteeth, which features stellar Goes Cube drummer Kenny Appell among it's ranks. The band have a sludgy and doomy feel to them. Slow and heavy wins the race. Drew will help contribute to the already massive stacks of amplifiers the band has on stage. Here is what they sound like: (more…)
