Oh shit. The MI/Sick Drummer BLAST OFF II has just gotten bigger. We will be giving away a set of Sabain B8 Cymbals courtesy of the SEVENTH VOID (featuring Johnny Kelly of TYPE O NEGATIVE on the drums). What is the Blast Off, you ask? It's a video competition where all you have to do is upload a 3 minute video of your best drumming and the editors of Sick Drummer Magazine will pick a winner in each category. Winners will receive either the afformentioned Sabian cymbal set, Trick Dominator double bass pedals or a Nuclear Blast prize pack. So what are you waiting for? Get to your drums, tape yourself, and then upload the fuck out of your video!

A few months ago, we teamed with Sick Drummer Magazine to bring you the Blast Off. The first competition was won by Luke Dumke (signed) and Alex Bent (unsigned). Now it's time to do it all again.

We welcome any and all drummers ( signed and unsigned) for the second version of this contest. All you have to do is upload a 3 minute video of your best drumming and the editors of Sick Drummer Magazine will pick a winner in each category. Winners will receive either Trick Dominator double bass pedals or a Nuclear Blast prize pack. You have until April 12th to come up with the most blast-tastic drum video you can. The winners are in! A few months back, we announced that we are teaming with Sick Drummer Magazine to bring you a digital blast off. Both signed and unsigned drummers entered and judges : Adam Jarvis (MISERY INDEX), Dave Culross (MALEVOLENT CREATION) & Elliot Hoffman (CAR_BOMB) picked a winner for each category (signed and unsigned). Attention Drummers: Intoducing the Digital Blast Off Competition

Metal Injection is teaming up with the fine people at Sick Drummer Magazine for a new ongoing contest called the Digital Blast Off , the world's first recurring online drumming competition for metal drummers, judged by metal drummers.

This first digital drumming contest will be judged by: Adam Jarvis (MISERY INDEX), Dave Culross (MALEVOLENT CREATION) & Elliot Hoffman (CAR_BOMB). The contest will be split in two divisions: Signed or Unsigned. This means that anyone can enter! We have a brand new set of Axis Double A Longboards for the winner of each division.
