BENEATH THE MASSACRE Post Two New Tracks, New Album On The Way

Beneath The Massacre Incongruous

I did not even realize that Montreal death metal masters Beneath The Massacre were finished recording a new album, and it's release is right around the corner. Incongruous will be released in the US on February 14th, in the UK on February 20th, in mainland Europe on February 24th and in Canada on February 28th. That's next month! To sweeten the deal the band has released some new music as well. (more…)

A/V Roundup: New music from INTRONAUT, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, FLESHWROUGHT and new EVERY TIME I DIE Hijinx

I leave for one day to go out to Mayhem Fest and come back to a sea of new available music. There is so much good shit out right now, I don't even know where to start. Let's dive right in…

First up, before we get to the music, another fantastic new edition of Every Time I Die's web series, Shit Happens, has been posted. I know Sean always mentions on the Livecast that Sid is charming, but these guys are totally charming.

Intronaut have begun their run supporting Cynic on the Focus tour. To celebrate, they have premiered an awesome new track, "Elegy" on Invisible Oranges. The track will be featured on the album, Valley of Smoke out October 12th.

I finally got an advance of Fleshwrought's new album, a project I was recently gushing about, and it's fantastic. Now, you can listen in as well, as our friends at MetalSucks are streaming the whole album. Just in case you are unfamiliar with the project, it's the work of mastermind Navene Koperweis, who wrote the album and handled all the instrumentation. Jonny Davy (you may have heard of his other band, Job For A Cowboy) handles all the vocals.

Beneath the Massacre have posted the first taste of their new EP, Maree Noire – the track is "Black Tide" and it's a BTM specialty of brutality. If you know what the band sounds like, you know exactly what the expect.

You can listen to Fuck The Facts' new EP in it's entirety. And, if you decide you want to buy it, you can pay whatever you feel the band deserves for it…

BENEATH THE MASSACRE To Release New EP

Beneath The Massacre

A few months ago we brought you an exclusive studio update from Beneath the Massacre. The band was recording and the process has been completed according to frontman Elliot Desgagnes:

"It's going to be two years since our last album and we had the idea of a short release while we keep writing for the next full length. We picked five songs to go on the EP and I feel like these are by far the best songs we've ever written. Nothing that different from our other releases but we're always getting a little closer to the sound we want. So we're all satisfied with the result and are looking forward to share it."

No title or release date has been announced yet. More info as it becomes available…

DARKEST HOUR show how much more fun they are having than you on the Summer Slaughter tour

When DARKEST HOUR guitarist Mike Schleibaum contacted us saying he wanted to submit Summer Slaughter tour diaries exclusively to us, how could we be anything but excited about it? Mike didn't disappoint! Along with drummer Ryan Parrish, one of our favorite people ever, the two provide an entertaining look on what life is like on the road with the most extreme tour of the Summer. You can watch the band goofing around with the not-as-serious-offstage Frank Mullen of SUFFOCATION and then see him be very serious on stage a few minutes later. This is quality video! Check it out below and don't you worry, there is plenty more where this came from:
