AVENGED SEVENFOLD Announce Tour with HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, ASKING ALEXANDRIA & BLACK VEIL BRIDES

Avenged Sevenfold will not be spending the Winter at home, instead opting to hit the road for a massive arena tour with Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria and Black Veil Brides for the 'Buried Alive' tour. Despite my personal opinions of most of these bands, I have to commend them on being able to sell out arenas with music that is relatively heavy. Looks like the tour is hitting select markets only. Keeping My Composure While Meeting Sebastian Bach

So I got to fulfill a life long mission of mine last week at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards by meeting Sebastian Bach at the VIP lounge. I'm sort of a big fan. Of course, I didn't tell him that Skid Row was one of my favorite 80's metal bands in my youth, that I listened to them every day on my way to school, that I watched the Skid Row VHS tape, Oh Say Can You Scream like it was the 7 O'Clock News, that I know all the lyrics off their first two LPs, or that I've even taken a photo of the original Skid Row release hanging on the wall at Trax East studio (where they recorded). I apparently have no problem confessing my adolescent fanboyishness to you though. Hey, sometimes you need to keep it in your pants and compose yourself. (more…)

Tour Dates

THRASH & BURN 2010 Full Lineup and Itinerary Announced

Thrash & Burn is back for another year, and this edition's lineup is diverse to say the list. The show is set to be headlined by Asking Alexandria, Born of Osiris, Kittie and Stick To Your Guns with support coming from Impending Doom, Through The Eyes of the Dead, Evergreen Terrace, Periphery, Greeley Estates, Motionless in White and Chelsea Grin. There are certainly some bands in that lineup that we always enjoy seeing, and some who we don't. We'll let you figure out which are which. Is this a show you are looking to hit up?
