So a little while back we showed you that After The Burial had re-tracked a song off their Forging a Future Self album. Apparently there'll be two more songs re-tracked off that album and issued as an EP. Hooray! (more…)
That's a whole lot of After the Burial news! (more…)
Not that there hasn't been footage of their new song "A Wolf Amongst Ravens" before, but this one is actually listenable compared to the garbled messes of videos that preceded it. (more…)

Metal Injection talks to the After The Burial bassist about being tall, their DIY beginnings, signing to Sumerian Records and advice to young bands looking to tour
When the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest announced their initial lineup a few weeks ago, it was already unfuckwithable. Anthrax (playing Among The Living), Opeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Hatebreed, Exodus, Shadows Fall…and others were already enough to get me excited.
Today, they announced the addition of a few new bands, including The Dillinger Escape Plan. (more…)
Whitechapel might be laying low right now, but come March, these guys are heading back on the road for the cleverly titled "Recorruptour" which will also feature Miss May I, After The Burial, Plot For You,, Structures and Within The Ruins. It all kicks off on March 10th in Memphis, TN. Here is the full routing: (more…)
Has anybody else noticed there aren't as many tours going around this summer. Beyond a handful of packages, my Summer schedule seems rather empty. I guess everybody is gearing up for some Fall treks, including these guys: After The Burial and Veil of Maya have just announced a co-headlining tour. The band has also locked in Misery Signals and Within The Ruins as support acts. Additionally, there will be support on select dates from either I The Breather, Structures, Volumes or Your Memorial. Don't get too excited yet, while the tour has been announced, no dates are available as of this posting. We'll keep you updated when that gets sorted out.
Just when we thought it was over… here comes another giant Summer touring package, the grossly inappropriately titled All Star Tour. I will say though they are doing something genius, the tour will feature two stages: one the heavier stage and the other the more "emo" stage. It's a smart marketing move to attract people who may go to Summer Slaughter as well as some Warped Tour kids. The lineup isn't going to make most Metal Injection junkies excited, but here it is anyway: (more…)
As I Lay Dying have just sent out word that they will be kicking off 2011 by hitting the road. They will be taking Winds of Plague and After The Burial along for the ride. The trek start on February 12th at the Aggie Theater in Ft. Collins, CO and winds down March 18th in Sacramento, CA. The press release notes this tour will see the band go to places they haven't been in years. So if you are a Middle America As I Lay Dying fan this tour is most certainly for you. Here are the dates: (more…)
This cold weather is really depressing me. What's more depressing is it's only October. I can only imagine how terrible it will get in December. Thankfully, Winds of Plague is looking to keep me warm and active (in the mosh pit, natch) as they announced a new headlining tour for late November/early December. They will be joined by After The Burial, Carnifex, War Of Ages, and Upon A Burning Body for what they are calling the December Decimation tour. Here is the full routing: (more…)
Bleeding Through have announced a Fall run of dates they are dubbing "The Anti-Hero Tour." They have a hefty amount of openers. After The Burial, who are currently writing a new record, will be direct support. For Today and The Word Alive will also be on the tour for the entire run. Stray From The Path will be on the bill from September 3 through to September 22nd, at which point Dead And Divine will take over as openers. Here are the dates: (more…)
There have been a lot of names thrown around at certain members of Fear Factory. But one thing you cannot call the band is lazy. They have been on the road constantly and don't look to be stopping anytime soon. The band is keeping themselves busy all through June and July with stints featuring bands like All That Remains, Prong, 36 Crazyfists, After The Burial and others on select dates. Here is the full routing: (more…)
