So a little while back we showed you that After The Burial had re-tracked a song off their Forging a Future Self album. Apparently there'll be two more songs re-tracked off that album and issued as an EP. Hooray! (more…)

New England Metal and Hardcore Fest Adds DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Amongst Others To 2013 Lineup
When the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest announced their initial lineup a few weeks ago, it was already unfuckwithable. Anthrax (playing Among The Living), Opeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Hatebreed, Exodus, Shadows Fall…and others were already enough to get me excited.
Today, they announced the addition of a few new bands, including The Dillinger Escape Plan. (more…)

AFTER THE BURIAL & VEIL OF MAYA Teaming Up For Fall Tour
Has anybody else noticed there aren't as many tours going around this summer. Beyond a handful of packages, my Summer schedule seems rather empty. I guess everybody is gearing up for some Fall treks, including these guys: After The Burial and Veil of Maya have just announced a co-headlining tour. The band has also locked in Misery Signals and Within The Ruins as support acts. Additionally, there will be support on select dates from either I The Breather, Structures, Volumes or Your Memorial. Don't get too excited yet, while the tour has been announced, no dates are available as of this posting. We'll keep you updated when that gets sorted out.

ALL STAR TOUR Announces Tour Dates
Just when we thought it was over… here comes another giant Summer touring package, the grossly inappropriately titled All Star Tour. I will say though they are doing something genius, the tour will feature two stages: one the heavier stage and the other the more "emo" stage. It's a smart marketing move to attract people who may go to Summer Slaughter as well as some Warped Tour kids. The lineup isn't going to make most Metal Injection junkies excited, but here it is anyway: (more…)

WINDS OF PLAGUE, AFTER THE BURIAL, CARNIFEX announce Winter 2010 tour

This cold weather is really depressing me. What's more depressing is it's only October. I can only imagine how terrible it will get in December. Thankfully, Winds of Plague is looking to keep me warm and active (in the mosh pit, natch) as they announced a new headlining tour for late November/early December. They will be joined by After The Burial, Carnifex, War Of Ages, and Upon A Burning Body for what they are calling the December Decimation tour. Here is the full routing: (more…)

FEAR FACTORY are going to have a busy summer

There have been a lot of names thrown around at certain members of Fear Factory. But one thing you cannot call the band is lazy. They have been on the road constantly and don't look to be stopping anytime soon. The band is keeping themselves busy all through June and July with stints featuring bands like All That Remains, Prong, 36 Crazyfists, After The Burial and others on select dates.
