Metal Injection Livecast returns with a very special 10th edition of the show. The night begins with a very important news conference regarding Rob's drug failure. Also, Rob and Noa talk about their experience at a Meshuggah/Cynic/The Faceless show the previous night. We then troll the Metal Injection forums for unsigned bands in a segment called Thrash It or Trash It. Finally, for this special occasion, we have a huge guest lined up in guitar virtuoso THOR SHREDSTEEN in the studio answering fan questions. Check out this week's playlist:

Now on a less thankful note please talk less and play more music on the livecast. I tune in every week and you guys dont play enough music.     I love Cynic to death but but I wouldn't call the Cynic bashing a "new low". I found it funny.. and who cares if Sid and 3D arn't into them. They should be able to say what ever they want. I rather hear that than some radio show host pretending to like something just because it is popular at the time.

    For the record, I actually don't dislike Cynic. I am not that familiar with them. I only heard a couple of songs, and it's not really my kind of metal, but it's OK. I was just teasing Rob to get under his skin, because he has a crush on Cynic like a schoolgirl.

    Sid on the other hand, REALLY hates them.

    Not sure if you guys forgot or if it got lost in the mail or something. I didn't mentioned this earlier because I wanted to call in and Christian Bale you guys and pretend I was angry (even though I'm not at all) but I haven't been home on Friday nights to "DO IT LIVE!!" O'Rielly style.

MI is not the same with out someone bashing on someone or something lol. Oh and the amount of music they play is good. I want to hear more of the hosts. If you want more music, go visit your iTunes.

    OH and Sid, when you're not too busy with the singer's cock in your mouth from My Chemical romance (this is a joke Set Abominae), give Cynic another listen. Focus is their best work.
