One thing Dave Mustaine is known for is his trademark ginger locks. But those locks aren't easy to maintain, they take a lot of work.
In a new, hilarious series of posts on Thrash Hits called (appropriately) Hair Metal, Dave Mustaine is put through the proverbial ringer. Mustaine was asked about his shampoo of choice:
“Are you serious? You’re serious. I don’t shampoo it every day – I shampoo it every other day just so that the soap doesn’t strip my hair out. Other than that I use extensive conditioner. The stuff’s called Pureology. I don’t recommend anyone get it because it’s really super expensive.”
Mustaine's not kidding. A quick search turned up results ranging between 50 and 100 dollars a bottle.
So there you go, Dave Mustaine uses very expensive conditioner so that we can all enjoy his beautiful hair as he plays.
