KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's Adam D. Won The Price Is Right Today (Seriously)

If you are a stay at home type of person and happened to just catch this morning's edition of The Price Is Right, you may have noticed a familiar tall lanky fellow standing beside Drew Carey. That person was Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. Adam fared very, very well for himself making it all the way to the very end and winning the big prize.

Adam D. won a car and then went on to the showcase showdown and won the entire day's game, including an additional truck! As for his prize, it was a lot of money:

    I'd like to point out that on the price is right, you have to pay your taxes up front to take your prizes.

    on that prize he had to pay between 17k-22k in taxes to take those prizes home.

    Google it, most people actually end up having to decline taking their prizes home because of that rule and law on the price is right.

    Dude is one of the few people that could probably afford to "win" that much.

    The IRS considers it all income, and the producers of the price is right wont let you pay those taxes later, or deduct them from your winnings. They have to be paid up front.
