ROTTING OUT Frontman To Be Released From Prison In November, Will Not Be Deported

A happy ending to an unfortunate story.

A happy ending to an unfortunate story.

Ah, the tale of Rotting Out frontman Walter Delgado. Back in March 2016, Delago was arrested in Ohio with 700 pounds of marijuana and 1,000 jars of hash oil. Ironically, later on Delgado admitted that he "doesn't even like weed."

Ohio State Highway Patrol caught Delgado, 29, and his accomplice Anthony Jochum, 26, of Cleveland hardcore band Search Bloc, when the two were pulled over for a "following too closely violation." The cops searched the car and found 700 pounds of marijuana and 1,000 jars of hash oil, which the cops report has a collective street value of $350,000. Cops also seized $7,500 in cash.

Delgado was sentenced to 18 months in prison in August 2016, and there was a possibility that he was going to be deported. Lambgoat reported back in September that a movement was started within the hardcore community to send letters praising Delgado's contributions to the community.

The good news is that Delgado will not be serving his entire sentence, nor will he be deported. According to the below email obtained by Lambgoat, Delgado will be released sometime in November.
