Would You Attend A Big 4 Of Death Metal Tour?

Late last week, while promoting Cannibal Corpse's upcoming headlining tour, co-founding member Paul Mazurkiewicz gave an interview to Billboard and was asked about the Big 4 of Death Metal, an obvious play on the Big 4 of Thrash, that have been selling out stadiums worldwide. To his credit, Mazurkiewicz seemed all for it, saying:

"I think that would be pretty cool", he says. "I don't know if it would every happen. On paper, of course, it would be great for us, Morbid Angel, Deicide and Suffocation, something like that. That would be a brutal, brutal tour, a big celebration of bands that have been there since kind of the beginning – and are still going. It would be cool to do something like that".

Would you agree that those are the big four of death metal? Does that sound like a tour you would attend? Fuck, I'd be there!

    Carcass, Carcass, Carcass, and Carcass. No but really, I'd choose Carcass, Hypocrisy, Grave, and Dismember. Course Dismember isn't around anymore, so maybe have Entombed instead, or Benediction.

    Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Suffocation and Six Feet Under. That would be my choice but any of the others listed would be great too.
