Metallica's James Hetfield is about to make his acting debut and we're stoked. Hetfield will star in the Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, where he'll play the Utah highway patrolman who first arrested Ted Bundy in 1975. Hetfield makes a few brief appearances in the trailer for the movie, which you can watch below. I guess James Hetfield has a very "cop" look to him, as it doesn't look like they did any massive alterations to his face. Doubly so now that he's got that handlebar mustache.

Anyway, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile will debut at the Sundance Film Festival tomorrow, January 26. The movie was created by Some Kind of Monster co-director Joe Berlinger and stars Zac Efron, Lily Collins, John Malkovich, Jim Parsons and Haley Joel Osment.
