The famous duo of Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, whose work you know from films such as The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, are back at it. This time the duo are currently composing the score for Patriots Day, which is a film about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.
According to the film's Wikipedia, Patriots Day will see a limited release on December 21, followed by a much larger release on January 13. The film will have such stars as Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, and J.K. Simmons.
Director Peter Berg weighed in on his choice of composers via Instagram, naturally with nothing less than excitement.

For a film that's sure to be this intense, I think the duo of Reznor & Ross are sure to nail it.
