Tim Lambesis Trial

AS I LAY DYING Frontman Tim Lambesis Granted Exceptions From House Arrest

We told you that As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis would be appearing in court last Friday and today the outcome of that hearing has been made public.  Lambesis was arrested on May 7th for attempting to hire a hitman to murder his wife. The supposed hitman ended up being an undercover cop.  Lambesis is currently out on $2 million bond after paying $160,000 to a bail bondsman. Lambesis is under house arrest and during this hearing was granted two exceptions.

Thomas Warwick Jr., Lambesis' attorney was seeking the court's approval to grant an exception for Lambesis' house arrest stating:

“Defendant Timothy Lambesis is currently on house arrest and due to the restrictions of his release cannot leave the house to seek medical attention for the neck injury from which he is currently suffering.”

According to the San Diego Reader, the singer was granted an exception by Superior Court Judge Kimberlee Lagotta to visit a physical therapist to seek medical attention for a neck injury.  Lambesis now has permission to visit a therapist named Lanele Stafford at Coast Kinesiology in Del Mar, CA as well as an orthopedic group in La Jolla, CA.

Lambesis is awaiting a court date was arranged for September, when the trial will officially kick off.
