The Djent Stick is Real!
The "djentstick" got popular when a few weeks ago someone covered an After the Burial song literally on a stick with a string and an EMG pickup. The novelty caught on and the Internet exploded (or the Internet as far as I'm concerned). Now there's a company that sort of makes the djentstick, though it's not related to the video at all. It's just a really, really good coincidence for them.
Our sister site Gear Gods, who have been doing incredible coverage of all the new gear announced at NAMM, found something called "The Noodle." The company Slaperoo introduced The Noodle, which I can't explain to you half as well as the video below will because it's kind of ridiculous in the best way possible. Basically you just… slap it and it makes noise.
Yeah, that's a thing now. It's also $250 for the base model and $599 for the other model that looks the same but probably does other stuff I'm not entirely aware of (it looks bigger? Seriously, I cannot figure this out). Not sure I'd ever spend this kind of money on it, but it does look like a lot of fun to play with!
Make sure to keep up with Gear Gods' NAMM coverage.
