LIMP BIZKIT Signs to Cash Money Records

Well, this is probably the weirdest fucking news I have heard in a while, but I'm kind of interested to see how things pan out. Last night, Lil Wayne (probably the only time he'll get mentioned on MI) told 98.7 KISS FM's KISSing After Dark that the New Orleans label signed Limp Bizkit.

The news went viral very quickly on numerous hip-hop blogs, that is actually where I learned the news, before I stumbled upon the video that I found on Billboard. Fred Durst confirmed the news on his Twitter, saying that he was "back in this ho".

No word on when the Bizkit's first Cash Money album will come out. The band's last effort, Gold Cobra, was released last year, ending up #16 on the Billboard charts.
