DEVILDRIVER Announce New Label Home: Napalm Records

Devildriver became free agents earlier this year as they fulfilled their Roadrunner Records contacts. Labels were lining up left and right to sign the band and today, there is a new label home for Dez Fafara and company. The band officially announced they'd be signing to Australia's Napalm Records, which features mostly folk acts such as Tÿr, Korpiklaani and Huntress. This is definitely the highest profile signing as far as US bands go. The band is already begun work on a follow-up to last year's Beast. Here is what frontman Dez Fafara had to say about the signing:

“I am proud to announce DevilDriver’s new partnership with Napalm Records! They have the passion and the drive we as a band were looking for! I’m looking forward to working together on DevilDriver‘s next release! Hail the groove!”

Napalm Records CEO Markus Riedler also chimed in:

“We are extremely excited to have this outstanding band on our label roster. DevilDriver are a true metal monster full of primal energy and more than ready to conquer the world with their upcoming album that will be released in the fall of 2013. Join the metal brotherhood and get ready for the world’s largest circle pit!”

There will be plenty of time to circlepit! Devildriver is currently touring overseas.
