SHOCKER: Grammy for Best Metal Performance goes to most recognizable band.

Hey, did you know the Grammy Awards were tonight? No, because you have you pubic hair and it isn't gray! Anyway, before the "big show" on CBS, the award for Best Metal Performance to (presumably) the only band they ever heard of: Metallica for the track "My Apocalypse." The Bay Area grandpas beating out DragonForce, Slipknot, Judas Priest and Ministry. To show how much the band appreciated the nomination and win, they sent the only dude who had nothing better to do.
In other news, The Mars Volta won for Best Hard Rock Performance beating out the likes of Disturbed, Judas Priest, Motley Crew and Rob Zombie. The full list of Grammy winners can be found here.
