Motley Crue retired on the last day of 2015 and vowed never to tour again, but will they be putting out new music soon?
Both Tommy Lee and bassist Nikki Sixx posted photos on social media of the two of them in the studio with legendary producer Bob Rock, who produced Dr. Feelgood. (Fun story: Lars was so impressed with the drum sounds on Dr. Feelgood that he recruited Rock to produce the Black Album.)
While the caption you would see on the photo would read “Boomz!!!!!!”, LouderSound.com reports that originally the caption was “It’s that new shit!!!”
What's more likely is that the band might be working on a new song or two to coincide with the release of their long-anticipated biopic, The Dirt, due on Netflix next year. The cast has been revealed and they are probably shooting as you read this.
