Robert Plant Once Again Shoots Down Possibility Of A LED ZEPPELIN Reunion

Robert Plant isn't interested in the past anymore.

2017 was almost an incredibly exciting year for Led Zeppelin fans. There were rumors floating around that the band would reunite for the first time since the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert on December 10, 2007. Unfortunately, those rumors were shot down by the Desert Trip Festival promoters and there haven't really been any rumblings about another reunion since.

Now in a new interview with The Telegraph, vocalist Robert Plant confirms that there are no reunion plans and that he's not really interested in doing it.

"You can't ever really go back," he said. "It's tough enough repeating yourself with something that's a year old, never mind forty-nine years old. I've got to keep moving."

Even if there was going to be a reunion, now wouldn't be the best time for Plant. Dude just released his new solo album Carry Fire on October 13, and he's out there promoting the record as he should be. So now we continue to wait, though I wouldn't hold my breath. Ever since Zeppelin's demise in 1980, there have only been four reunions.
