Metal Injection

The Revolver Golden Gods Awards are always a fun time. It's the one time of year where the metal world get together in Los Angeles to give a giant three hour cheers to our genre of music. We were there last year and two years ago, and speaking from the frontlines, it's always the biggest party of the year. The people who are nominated/win almost don't matter, it's just an excuse to do hundreds of shots in the name of metal.

With that said, this year's show will be hosted by Chris Jericho, who was one of the co-hosts of last year's show. The headlining performance at the show will be by Alice Cooper, who will not only be receiving the Golden God Award, but he will also reunite with the original Alice Cooper band, Duff McKagan’s Loaded, Devildriver, Asking Alexadria, Volbeat, and Fozzy. Motley Crue will be awarded the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award. As for the awards, here are the nominees:
