Earlier in the year we talked about Obscura losing both drummer Hannes Grossman and guitarist Christian Muenzer, leaving founding frontman and guitarist Steffen Kummerer and bassist Linus Klausenitzer as the only members left in the group. Fortunately the duo decided to carry on and began the process of finding replacement musicians, which brings us to the good news for today! Joining Obscura full time is Panzerballett drummer Sebastian Lanser! If you're not familiar with the man's insane chops, check out one of the many excellent examples below.
No word on who the band's guitarist is yet, but with Obscura being who they are I'd imagine it's not going to be very difficult for the group to find someone who totally shreds! Here's hoping they find someone soon enough to keep on track with their promise of a new record in 2015.
