New TIMES OF GRACE Will "Take Some Time," Be Very Different From Debut

"I know we all live in generation 'I want it now' but I can assure you this album will take some time."

Times Of Grace, the band consisting of Killswitch Engage's Jesse Leach and Adam Dutkiewicz, is currently writing its followup to its 2011 self-titled debut, and Leach says it'll be quite a different effort than its debut.

Leach also says the album will "take some time," so who knows it'll actually be out. Though we've waited six years at this point for a new album, so what's another year or so?

Writing "Times of Grace" lyrics by candle and incense as one does… .

I enjoy carrying the knowledge that this recording will be far different from the last one. This one has gone down so many new roads sonically and lyrically. Hell I haven't even begun to demo and I am already so artistically satisfied just knowing the skeleton of this record. I know we all live in generation "I want it now" but I can assure you this album will take some time. That being said here and there I will give brief insights (and perhaps little snippets as we get recording). For now just wanted to drop a little "hey writing stuff, yes we are making another record" type deal….. So be patient please. I will however leave you with this, the new stuff is shaping up to be a whole different world of sound and words. I will be using different melodic registers and less growl substituted by more "melodic yelling." The lyrics are primarily quite melancholy so far but most of my lyrics often do begin that way and find light as the process unfolds… that's all for now…
