NACHTMYSTIUM's Blake Judd Issues Update On TWILIGHT All-Star Group

Blake Judd has been the center of our attention for a few weeks now. From his arrest to release and potentially dissolving Nachtmystium in favor of attending rehab, Judd seems to be on the right path. Now he's talking about releasing Twilight's, the band consisting of Judd, Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium, Minsk), Stavros Giannopolous (The Atlas Moth), Wrest (Leviathan), and Imperial. next and final album.

Judd posted a picture of himself wearing some aviators (#blackmetalselfies) late Tuesday, November 5, to which fans began commenting. In the thread, Judd addressed his current situation as well as the upcoming Twilight record, saying:

“Again, thanks to everyone who’s commented, ‘liked’ and / or written to me. You guys are really making me realize just how many people I have out there that a give a shit…many of you I know, but the majority of you I do not, and that means the world to me that so many of you (literally over 150 in forty eight hours….thats insane!) care enough to have taken time out of your days to write. Thank you SO much. It’s making this entire experience so much easier on me. I feel less alone now than I have in years and thats amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

PS – many of you have been asking about the pending TWILIGHT record, ‘Beneath The Tridents Tomb“. The album is finally ready to be released and will be coming out on Century Media Records worldwide in March of next year. This will be the last Twilight album too might I add.”

I'm under the impression that Judd going to rehab makes him want to close up this chapter of his life (I've seen it) and is dropping Twilight… and probably Nachtmystium. It just sounds like Judd wants to step away from it all and start anew, and more power to him if he does. I guess we'll know soon enough.

In the meantime, have you heard the new Nachtmystium jam?
