My Dying Bride is dropping Feel The Misery on September 18 via Peaceville and I thought maybe this would be the record that would get me into the group. For what it's worth, I like the new music, but a song titled "And My Father Left Forever" sounds like it's either the butt of a very terrible joke or something a guy who tries to be "deep" and "poetic" says to me at a coffee shop.
Still, the music is pretty solid and the vocals are good, but man… that song title just throws me for a loop. I'm still gonna buy this CD, though.
