Mudvayne hasn't released anything since its self-titled record in 2009, mainly because its members have gone off to do other things. Most notable of said things being Hellyeah, consisting of vocalist Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett. Mudvayne hasn't seemed to keen on the idea of reuniting lately either, and the most recent mention of that even possibly happening came in March 2015 where Gray gave a resounding "meh"-type of answer.
So it's kind of weird that the band just posted this on its Facebook, right?
This is odd for two reasons. For one, Mudvayne hasn't really posted anything that doesn't pertain to its side projects in the past few years, meaning either something is up or someone in the band just fucked up (I'm willing to bet it's the former). Secondly, "201?" seems to indicate that a reunion could be imminent sometime in the 201X decade… so we'll see.
I still listen to The End Of Things To Come and L.D.50 on the regular, so I'd be over the damn moon if the band came back with its old aggressiveness.
