metallica is an old school band, and work very hard on their music so when the news got to them that it was being taken from them without their permission. it understandably upset them. but lars did drop it and said u know what, that's fine if that's what people want to do

geez i am sick of people crying about napster. who gives a shit. it was 10 years ago. and i do believe you can still download music very easily for free. for your imformation the napster case eneded up being dropped anyways for all u dumbshits. and secondly you cant steal from yourself. lars downloaded HIS album.

WOW. I love Metallica, but Lars is a goddamn douchebag. I"m sure he did this just to get a rise out of people. He's either an asshole or just completely techonologically illiterate. Downloading an album is so simple that I can't imagine he seriously didn't know how it was done.

For fucks sake Lars is an idiot and a fucking hypocrite….In the new Global Metal movie he states that he has no problem with people downloading music because he feels that it's ok as long as people can listen to it and enjoy it……..ASSHOLE
