Yeah, this is a really strange one that Gear Gods brought to my attention: Electronica guru Squarepusher collaborated with Z-Machines, a mechanical music ensemble that's funded by Zima, to write an album they've deemed "metal music" in the most literal sense. Remember Compressorhead? It's like that but weirder.

The album will be out on Apr. 8 via Warp Records and as far as I know that's the album are up there. The whole thing is really strange but totally worth a listen below- it sounds like the whole thing is MIDI but remember every motion is the exact same because they're robots. While I'm not entirely sure I'd buy the record, I'm really enjoying the visual aspect of the whole thing!
