This past Saturday night was the night that all of Los Angeles and the world remembered Lemmy. His funeral service, which was streamed all across the internet. But once the service was over, the real party began.
We posted various photos from the Rainbow, the Roxy and the Whiskey-A-Go-Go, but clearly the big party was the Metal Allegiance tribute show to Lemmy. The band, which features guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist David Ellefson, drummer Mike Portnoy and bassist Mike Menghi were joined by a who's who of musicians including Corey Taylor, Troy Sanders of Mastodon, Phil Demmel of Machine Head, Mark Osegueda of Death Angel, Dave Lombardo and others for Motorhead classic covers.
