Hey, remember when the Super Bowl Halftime show was so shitty that Santana said the event should've been a celebration of California's music rather than the nonsense we actually got? Well, we can't time travel and do it all over again, but Lars Ulrich is certainly making things a little better!

Ulrich, alongside Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Chairman and CEO of Salesforce Marc Benioff, Primus' bassist Les Claypool, actor and activist Peter Coyote, James Hetfield, filmmaker Jonathan Parker, co-founder of Turner Duckworth and designer David Turner, and Lars’ father Torben Ulrich, will be speaking at UC Berkeley about how great it is to live in the Bay Area.

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at Zellerbach Hall on the UC Berkeley campus. The event will be called Front Row, and honestly, it's a cool idea. What better way to get inspired about your hometown than to hear about all the success that came from the area?

Oh, and there's gonna be an after party with soft drinks. Tickets are currently on sale for UC Berkley students, so go get 'em if you're in the area! We wish we could go… but y'know, other side of the country and all that.
