Members of CRADLE OF FILTH, EPICA, FIREWIND And More Announced For Rock Opera Video Game

You know what goes well with solid video games? A 52-piece orchestra and some really solid metal singers. Prepare to be blown away by the nerdiest, coolest game I've heard of in a while.

So the game, which I'm sure by now you've picked up on is called Karmaflow, is a "third person platform puzzle game [that] utilizes adaptive music and song to tell you the story behind it's world" planned to be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2014. While the game play sounds cool, the music is where it's at right now! The producers are looking to get 10 metal singers and  have already acquired a 52-piece orchestra and small metal band for the music of the game. So far, they've got Marc Hudson of Dragonforce, Henning Basse of Metallium and Firewind, Elize Ryd of Amaranthe, Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Devilment, Mark Jansen of MaYaN and Epica, and Simone Simons of Epica as well. The project's Kickstarter describes the music as:

"…a mixture of rock/metal, orchestral music, several ethnic instruments and a cast of awesome singers, who will tell you the story behind the characters they are portraying in the game."

So go ahead and hit up that Kickstarter link, read all about the game (which sounds sick), and donate if you're down with it! Should be awesome!
