Members of FALL OUT BOY, ANTHRAX, EVERY TIME I DIE start "metal supergroup" (Seriously!)

thedamnedthings300 Jesus, does Scott Ian ever say no to anything? Rock Sound is reporting that he, along with fellow ANTHRAX guitarist Rob Caggiano are teaming up with (of all people) FALL OUT BOYguitarist and drummer Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley as well as Keith Buckley of EVERY TIME I DIE.

Of course, we know Keith is friends with the Fall Out Boy gang (proof!) so that makes sense, but how did the Anthrax guys get involved? Through a mutual friend, and bassist of the band, David Karon. The band describes what they are jamming on as "a mix of Thin Lizzy and Kyuss", so basically Mastodon?

No release date is scheduled, as the band is just jamming out songs. Here's an idea though, Scott. How about finishing that ANTHRAX record first?
