I never heard of Laibach until last night, but when I watched Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, I was introduced to my new favorite Rammstein knock-off. Update: We have been informed by multiple readers that Laibach actually formed 14 years before Rammstein, so if anything, Rammstein is the knock off.
You owe it to yourself to watch this three-minute piece highlighting the only rock band being invited to play North Korea's liberation day in August. The band is from Slovenia and will be playing some of their "hit songs" as well as their interpretation of the Sound of Music. This has the potential to be the greatest trainwreck in rock history! Why? Because these guys produce the weirdest covers:
