We recently interviewed Baroness vocalist and guitarist John Baizley and drummer Sebastian Thomson about the band's coming album, among a few other things. Thomson said of the band's progress on the new album "if we had to go to the studio right now, we could get something done," while Baizley said the band planned on hitting the studio early 2018.
Now Baroness has taken to Instagram to show they're either working on new songs or that they're in the studio. The mic'ed up drum set makes us believe it's time for the studio, but I guess we'll see soon enough. Either way, prepare yourselves for a new Baroness album in 2018, which will be the band's first with guitarist and vocalist Gina Gleason.
