In 2016, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland released his debut instrumental post-rock album Crystal Machete. The album was written and played entirely by Borland, and it appears the next one will be the same. Borland has announced he's working on a sequel to the album, dubbed The Astral Hand, and appears to be in the studio for the effort now.
Back in June, Borland also teased the return of Big Dumb Face, which hasn't released any new material since 2001. So what's up with Limp Bizkit then? Is the band just on an unspoken hiatus right now? Is The Stampede Of The Disco Elephants really done and hiding on the Internet somewhere, and Borland is just working on his own stuff post-album?
