Metal Injection

Jason Newsted means business this time around, and he's getting all the right people with him.

Staind guitarist Mike Mushok has joined the ranks of Jason Newsted in his quest for making some pretty heavy music. Mushok always kind of seemed like he had the heavy in him, and apparently Newsted wants to bring that right out of him. I mean, Mushok has his own signature baritone PRS for cryin' out loud- bring the damn metal! Admittedly, I haven't listened to Jason's Metal EP yet, but the above video makes me want to. They sound great live in the studio there, and Newsted brings it on vocals hard. I love how pasionate he is about metal too- to see someone get that excited about anything makes me excited about it, even if I'm not a huge fan.
