ION DISSONANCE Hits The Studio, Says A New Record Will Be Out Very Soon

The gears are finally turning.

The gears are finally turning.

Ion Dissonance release four records between 2003 and 2010, the most recent of these being Cursed. The band then fell silent for the next few years and the only thing we'd heard from the group between 2010 and now was a demo track in 2014. Ringing in the new year, the band has taken to its Facebook to absolutely, without a doubt, promise fans that a new record is coming and that 2016 will totally be the year!

Our first update of 2016 and let me start by stating that 2016 will definitely be a huge year for Ion Dissonance. I know we say this every year as of late, but this is it… Our new record will be released without a doubt in the upcoming months.

The details we mentioned a few weeks back are completely taken care of. The art work is looking amazing so far, and the recording process for the record began as the year kicked off. We began tracking guitars last week, and vocals are getting under way today. We are more than pleased with the way everything is coming together, and we're confident Tony will be conducting some of his best work on this one. We'll be posting updates and detailed information with regards to the release date as we move further into the process.

If you feel like being awesome and giving us a hand in promoting the album, the best way for you to do so is by picking up some of our gear from Indie merch. Thanks again for the love and support, we truly appreciate it.

Now we wait, though really what's a few months compared to six years worth of waiting? We're still stoked that Ion Dissonance is back!
