HIGH ON FIRE's Matt Pike Out Of Rehab

We were pretty bummed to learn that High on Fire had to pull out of this year's Mayhem Festival, as they were going to be one of the high points of the show for us. But it was for good reason, Matt Pike had to lay off the sauce. The shirtless frontman entered alcoholic rehabilitation and spent the summer detoxing. Summer is over for Pike and he's ready to get back in the saddle issuing the following: "As I acclimate back to society, I realize the beast within is even sharper and stronger!" Great to hear, Matt!

Coincidentally, the band just released a really killer video for"Fertile Green." Meanwhile, here is a great quote I found of Pike describing what "heavy" is:
