Fans who have passed on and have been cremated seem to have a new trend going for them – have your favorite band spread your ashes on stage. It all started when there was a story about a deceased fan's ashes being spread at a Dying Fetus show, and then the same guy's ashes were spread at a Behemoth show.
Now Hatebreed has fulfilled a fan's final wish, though it's a different fan. Regardless, it's a nice gesture from musicians to do so, and as far as I know ashes aren't unsanitary. The band decided the song "As Diehard As They Come" to the deceased Dennis, which is a title I think we'd all like to be given when we're gone.
