Jesse Leach Officially Back As KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Vocalist
- Posted by RobInjection on February 6, 2012
We can't say this is shocking news, but vocalist Jesse Leach has officially rejoined Killswitch Engage. Former vocalist Howard Jones announced he was "over it" a few weeks ago, and speculation ran rampant as to who would replace him. Today, if you hit the main page of KillswitchEngage.com, you will see the above photo of the band with Leach. Roadrunner, the band's label, corroborated in the story. This is awesome news and has reignited my interest in the band. The band will presumably be having their first official performance with Leach at this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.

Well, I will be honest this is great news. I've always liked KSE, they were one of my first metal bands. But their stuff with Leach was certainly far superior to that with Howard. Can't wait to hear some new shit!!
Best move this band could've ever made.
This is BULSHIT! KSE is not KSE without Howard Jones!
You sir, have obviously been smoking way too much crack, cause it's the other way around, KSE is nothing without Jesse. Howard's lyrics and overall style were way too cheesy. If your 15 years old, then I can understand your stance…..
This is beyond fucking awesome!!! I was so bummed when Howard left the band. He did an amazing job while he spent his time with them and you couldn't have found anyone better to replace Jesse. Jesse brought alot of heart to the band in the beginning and it will be great to see that back in the mix. So stoked!!!!!
Now Adam D just needs to grow himself a beard.
Awesome new's, although I would have liked to see Tommy vext step in, but you can't beat Jesse, he's the original.
