It's Official: Fred Durst Is A Douchebag
- Posted by RobInjection on October 18, 2011
We're a little late to report this, mostly because I considered it non-news but then I realized to not have a post with the headline that I used would be a true tragedy. Annnyway, late last week Fred Durst signed a deal with old people network CBS to star and produce a half-hour comedy series with the current working title of Douchebag. He will be playing a "rock legend" who needs to balance his lifestyle and a family. Can you already see how terrible this is going to be? Turns out the idea was sprung to the execs. by Durst's manager John Schneider, who happens to be the brother of renowned actor Rob Schieder (of such award winning films as Deuce Bigelow and The Hot Chick) and already sold a pitch to CBS for his bro, so why not for Durst too. Seriously, does anybody under 40 even watch CBS?

CSI: Miami comes on CBS. I think.
"Hey Freddy! How would you like to be in a TV show where you basically just have to be yourself?"
HEY! The Hot Chick is a great movie…
Instantly better than Two and a Half Men, How I Married Your Mother, the show with the nerds and the hot chick and Two Broke Girls (One Bad Sitcom).
ahhh, so its a documentary!
well this will be canceled within a month, but i think he's calling himself a "douchebag"…
Limp Bizkit is awesome, Gold Cobra kicks ass, and Fred has been in more movies than you'll ever be in! Douchebag, I'ma fuck you up
i liked Significant Other, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, but then I don't know they just… yeah.. This show suits him well, and I'm sure the CBS cast directors didn't even bother with an interview. Grats Fred
