EXODUS Planning San Francisco Residency For Their 40th Anniversary

Exodus was founded in Richmond, California in 1979 and will be celebrating 40 years as a band in 2019, which is pretty incredible. The band wants to commemorate this anniversary with a few nights' residency in San Francisco next year, complete with ex-members joining them on stage.

Vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza tells Impact that it's in the works.

"I think that we're gonna do something in San Francisco next year. We're gonna do a residency there, back at home, for 40 years. We're talking about it right now. Maybe three or four nights at a certain place. We played there last year two nights, called The Chapel. Probably bring old members up — that sort of thing — and see what happens. It's in the talks; [it's] definitely in the works right now."

Exodus also wants to work on a new album next year, but won't do so without the full attention of guitarist Gary Holt.
