Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Stevie Wonder, and more!

Ex-Pantera bassist and current solo artist Rex Brown seems like he's a dude who's very in touch with the classics that he grew up with. Which isn't a bad thing! He just seems like the type of guy who likes what he likes, and in an interview with Music Radar, he confirms that a lot of his tastes are what he grew up with.

Check out the list below, which includes Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Steviw Wonder, and more! His reasoning for Soundgarden is a little funny too, saying "When that came out, we were still playing clubs and you had to wear the fuckin' poofy shirt. That record came along, and I had heard the EP, but when I heard that record that was it."

Yes, 1991 was one year after Cowboys From Hell, but I think people forget Pantera also had four very glam-metal records from 1983 to 1988.

  1. Led ZeppelinPhysical Graffiti (1975)
  2. The BeatlesRevolver (1966)
  3. ZZ TopTres Hombres (1973)
  4. AerosmithRocks (1976)
  5. The Rolling StonesSticky Fingers (1971)
  6. Stevie WonderSongs In The Key Of Life (1976)
  7. KISSAlive! (1975)
  8. Humble PieRockin' the Fillmore (1971)
  9. Black SabbathMaster Of Reality (1971)
  10. SoundgardenBadmotorfinger (1991)
